Camping Lecco

Lecco is located on an alluvial deposit, in a valley bounded by the Alps and Lake Como, at the point where Lake Como and the Adda ends resumed its course. The town is crossed by three rivers, the Gerenzone the Caldone and Bion. The mountains that surround the natural bowl where lies the town are to the north Mount Coltignone (also called San Martino), east of Mount two hands, the Pizzo d'Erna and Resegone, south on Magnodeno. To the west, on the right bank of the Adda is the Monte Barro. Sull'Adda near the bridge Azzone Visconti Visconti is the small island.
Morphologically the Lecco area is the result of the many ice ages that have hit the planet, a fact evident in the appearance of the surrounding mountains, all the Grigna, showing all the characteristics of glacial excavation.
